How to verify a peptide COA before trusting it
A peptide COA is useful only when its claims can be tied to a specific sample and checked against independent records. Visual polish and a high purity percentage are not enough.
Match the lot and compound first
The certificate’s sample or lot identifier should match the product label exactly. Compare the compound name, salt or modified form and amount claim. A genuine report for another lot is not evidence for yours.
Confirm the issuing laboratory independently
Find the laboratory through its own domain or an accreditor record, then verify the report identifier and scope. Do not rely only on a QR code or phone number printed by the seller.
Separate purity, identity and contamination
Chromatographic purity, molecular identity and contamination are different questions. Read the methods, units, limits and omissions. Peptely reports missing fields rather than treating them as passed tests.
Peptide questions
Can a peptide COA be forged?
Yes. Documents can be altered or copied, which is why independent report and laboratory verification matter.
What does Peptely verify?
Peptely compares readable document claims with the label, registry and recall records. It does not test the vial.
