Peptides vs. steroids
Peptides and steroids are broad chemical categories, not interchangeable labels. Their structures, biological roles and regulatory treatment vary widely.
Category does not determine safety
A category name cannot establish quality, evidence, legality or suitability. Each compound and product needs its own sources and clinical context.
Their chemistry is different
Peptides are chains of amino acids. Steroids share a characteristic fused-ring structure. Those definitions describe chemistry, not whether a particular product is approved, effective or safe.
Evidence must follow the named compound
Do not transfer claims between categories or between compounds in the same category. Study population, formulation, route and outcome determine what a result can support.

Is one category automatically safer?
No. That conclusion cannot be made from the category alone.
Are peptides a legal substitute for steroids?
That cannot be concluded from the category names. Legal status is compound-, product-, activity- and jurisdiction-specific.
